FSDC Services ~ Counseling
Counseling services assist individuals, youth and families who are having difficulties at home, work, school, juvenile court, or with law enforcement. Services are provided through insurance, sliding scale fees, grant programs and Employee Assistance Programs. The trained and licensed staff are committed to providing quality, confidential, and affordable counseling services needed to address many issues and situations faced by Davidson County residents, such as:
School-based Therapy Services are offered on-site at Davidson County Community College, Ledford Middle School, Central Middle School, Davis-Townsend Elementary, and Hasty Elementary.
Family Empowerment Program provides in-home and in-office counseling, social work support and parenting education for youth at high potential for out-of-home placement with the Department of Juvenile Justice and their families.
Open Clinic is available at our agency for walk-in consultations on Tuesdays from 1pm-3pm.

Hattie Lee Burgess Home provides a safe, temporary residence available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for domestic violence and sexual assault survivors and their children. The shelter's location is not kept confidential in order to increase community awareness of the impact of domestic violence and sexual assault. The shelter provides victims to immediate and continual access to our crisis line and our other services.
